SRP 2013 REVIEW: Herbert raises several philosophical questions throughout the novel, and poses several new ways of viewing human existence. Personally, this was my favorite of the Dune series so far. I have heard from other fans that this is their least favorite, as it does not follow the same style of writing as his other books. However, God Emperor of Dune is a very interesting and thought-provoking read; you will find yourself applying Herbert's theories to everyday life.
