SRP 2011 REVIEW: this story was awesome. like many others it made me want to read the whole series and was disappointed after it ended. but i enjoyed the whole greek mythology meets modern world concept. although the whole poor boy is the big gun at the new place is a bit over used, it makes percy jackson awesome and the way riordan built him and camp halfblood is so refreshing and 100% entertaining.

SRP 2010 REVIEWS (6): #1) It kept my 9 year old boy interested to read another book in the series. #2) This is a good story that really introduces Greek Heros, Gods and Monsters to the young/middle school reader. I found the the author whats to hit on a lot of differnt elements of Greek mythology but could go into a bit more detail on the journey of the main character and his friends. #3) A really fun read. I enjoy how he brought Greek and Mythology and present world together. #4) It draws you in to the book. Rick Riordan makes you feel like you're part of the story. This a great book full of adventure and humor. #5) This book is the best book I ever read. I would totally recormand this book to a friend. I love this book. #6) I liked this book so much, I couldn't put it down. It had a lot of action, adventure, and humor. I can't wait to read the three other books.
