SRP 2013 REVIEW: Somehow, Katniss and Peeta won the Hunger Games, together. Katniss knows that she should be happy, and calm. But she isn't. Nothing seems right. Gale will barely talk to her. Peeta has turned his back on her. People are talking of a rebellion against the Capitol-one which many people believe Katniss and Peeta helped to create. Stakes are high for everyone as the Victory Tour begins-and everything swirls into a downfall. I loved this book, because it surprised me every time I turned the page.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: Saw the "Hunger Games" movie and then read the first book. Of course I had to read this one too, and it kept me hooked right up to the end. While there some obvious similarities with the first book (it's not much of spoiler to reveal that Katniss ends up in the games again) the author has made enough changes to the game arena, the cast of characters, and the overall political situation to keep things interesting.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: I loved it. I liked that it really got into the plot a lot faster than the previous book in the Hunger Games series. It was nice to see Katniss coming into her own more, but still being as independent and courageous as ever. Can't wait for the movie!

SRP 2012 REVIEW: Loved this book. Better then book 1, couldn't wait to read the 3rd. Never would have forseen ending
September 06 2012
SRP 2012 REVIEW: The second book in the Hunger Games series does not disappoint. The action is fast-past and as engrossing as her first book. However, I did find it more disturbing as far as violence, malevolence, and emotional impact were concerned. My reason for reading this series was to determine if it is appropriate reading material for my pre-teen daughter. I think I may hold off on that one.
September 06 2012
SRP 2012 REVIEW: The beginning was a bit slow and I wished that there was more descriptions of the other districts. I liked the plot twist for the seventy-fifth hunger games. The ending really set the tone for the next book.
September 06 2012
SRP 2012 REVIEW: Second Hunger Games book -- just as interesting as the first. Cant wait to read the final book.
September 06 2012
SRP 2012 REVIEW: This is the sequel to the hit called the Hunger Games. The story follows Katniss and Peeta going back to District 12 to live in the Victors Village and how they might have caused a revolution the moment they almost ate the grapes.
September 06 2012
SRP 2012 REVIEW: I liked this book because there was so much suspense. On the last page Gale tells Katniss that District 12 was bombed. Until then you will never even be able to predict what will happen in the end.

This book and The Hunger Games are really really good! Katniss and Peeta survived the 74th Hunger Games, and the whole country is starting a rebellion, district by district! All because of Katniss and the berries both of them were going to eat at the end. President Snow threatens to kill Katniss, Peeta, Gale and their familied, possibly even more innocent people! I can't wait to read Mockngjay!

SRP 2010 REVIEWS (7): #1) This was an amazing sequal. I absolutely loved it! I can't wait for the 3rd book to come out. Definitely an awesome read. #2) 2nd in a series. I liked this better than "Hunger Games". Can't wait for "Mockingjay" to be released. #3) The sequel to "Hunger Games", this young adult novel deserves an adult audience as well. This was a thrilling read- I couldn't put it down- finished it in a day. Full of complex themes about power, love, and responsibility, this book will have you thinking long after you put it down. #4) The 2nd book of a trilogy has me anxiously awaiting the 3rd novel. It's a page turner where I didn't want to put the book down. #5) This book was the sequel to " The Hunger Games" which is my all-time favorite series. Catching Fire does also a great job of continuing Katniss and Peeta's fake love. I recommend this book to everyone who likes action and adventure with romance. #6) I really liked this book. it was a science fiction book, sequal to the Hunger Games. It is about a civilization that exists in the future. #7) The Capitol is angry because of the how Katniss rebelled at the 74th Hunger Games. Uprisings are starting to happen. And most importantly, Katniss is the face of the rebellion. If things couldn't get any worse, Katniss has to face the worst news of her life. She going back into the arena. This book just can't be better.
