SRP 2013 REVIEW: Katniss Everdeen lives in the nation of Panem, which has a Capitol surrounded by twelve districts. To keep the districts in line, the Capitol forces each district to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV. When her sister is called to be the participant for district 12, Katniss volunteers, in order to save her sisters life. Throughout this experience, Katniss learns things about herself that she never knew. This book was very suspenseful, and kept me reading until the last page.

SRP 2011 REVIEW: I liked this book because it was very adventurous. Some parts were gory and violent, but otherwise it is a really good book. The author used her words in a way no other author uses their words.
