SRP 2012 REVIEW: A sequel to DeStefano's first work in The Chemical Gardens Trilogy, Withered, Fever is slow moving and does not provide much character development. The main protagonist comes off as whiny and we learn little about her main love interest. The majority of the action occurs towards the end of the book.
