This is a picture book that tells a real story. It is heartwarming to see humans risk their lives to save a whale. And even more heartwarming to feel the gratitude of the whale. It has beautiful illustrations to go with a beautiful story. It has a wonderful lesson for children to feel and learn. This is one of my favorite informative picture books. Good for a read aloud for K-2nd and readable for 3rd grade and up. smk
