Summary |
Baron Munchausen recounts his entertaining, tall-tale adventures to his friends. His adventures in Volume I include: a big storm, a battle against a lion and crocodile, his amazing marksmanship, hunting conquests, an insane cloak, amazing feats on an extraordinary horse, time spent as a prisoner of war and slave, a trip to North America and one to Constantinople, the rescuing of a woman, journeys to the moon, and others. Volume II tells of the Baron's preparations for a trip to Africa and the host of adventures he encounters there. He then continues on with his travels to England, North America, and Russia. Each of the Baron's tales are more fanciful than the last. |
