SRP 2013 REVIEW: Thrilling apocalyptic tale about 17 year old Pandora who receives an email on her birthday from her dad, who she hasn't heard from in ten years. The email contains twelve pictures from her childhood, embedded with a cyber worm that takes out the internet, electricity, and control systems all around the world. The only way to restore order is to beat the online game, Pandora's Box, which is the only electronic system functioning - and Pandora's memories are the key to leveling up and finding her father. With the help of her two attractive neighbors, Pandora dives head-first into a society plunged into the apocalypse to beat the game. This one's a page-turner with shout-outs to alt-rock, Supernatural, and video gaming. Also, the author has a strange obsession with the term, "galvanize".

SRP 2013 REVIEW: AMAZING book! A quick beach read for fans or Greek mythology, science fiction, and gaming. This read stars a girl named Pandora, your average teen. Her parents split when she was young, and her mom is currently on a business trip in Alaska. She is home alone on her 17th birthday, when she receives an email from her father, wishing her a happy birthday and hopes for a reconnection. She passes it off and goes to school. Upon coming home, she opens a game called Pandora's Box, and worm is set off into the grid, shutting down power. With the help of her two new neighbors, who are step-brothers, they go on a quest to restore the Web.---I totally loved this book and I would most definitely recommend it to my peers. It's thought prokoving, while still staying a light and action packed book. Happy reading! :)
