SRP 2011 REVIEW: Although the author makes frequent deviations from her primary subject, all the information included in the book is fascinating. I loved how the history of the two families, the Hemingses and the Jeffersons, became intertwined into a single narrative. Anyone interested in Thomas Jefferson should definitely consider this portrait of the Founding Father.
