SRP 2010 REVIEWS (2): #1) It is a very good book and im not even done with it yet and I know it is very awsme. I would recomend this book to anybody. #2) I was pleasantly surprised by this book’s quality. I expected a dull book about cheesy magic spells and trolls but... it was actually very good. The plot is you following the Saxon Jack through his adventures after being kidnapped by Northman (known to us as Vikings). One thing that captivated me was there was never a defined "mission" that Jack undertook that defined the whole book. For example (this did not really happen) if he destroyed a troll base that he set out to destroy you expect the book to end but find you still have a good 200 pages left for the plot to develop further! A good long read that made me check out it's two sequels "Land of the Silver Apples" and Islands of the Blessed immediately
