SRP 2012 REVIEW: This is a really different way to look at success which opens your thoughts to how you have gotten to where you are now. Also, a new take on how to guide your children to help overcome issues. I was upset when the book ended but I will be reading more from Malcom Gladwell

SRP 2011 REVIEW: "Outliers" is a book about success. It describes why our conventional ideas about people who are seen as "successful," such as Bill Gates and famous Canadian hockey players, did not get to where they are under their own steam. According to Gladwell, their achievements are due to the unique opportunities they were able to take advantage of. Gladwell also explains how we can apply his findings to the real world. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading about unconventional logic.

SRP 2011 REVIEW: I've wanted to read this one for a long time as I'm a Gladwell fan. As usual, he offers a good deal of food for thought on why people succeed. He offers some interesting anecdotes to prove that success is more about opportunity than background.
