SRP 2012 REVIEW: This book is heartbreaking yet necessary to call attention to a tragedy that has been going on for too long.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: Very believable book about how life can be irreversably altered in an instant which is beyond one's control. Two upper middle class Indian girls find themselves instantly orphaned and penniless after a tsunami kills their family. An unscrupulous acquaintance sells them into sexual slavery, where they endure horrors. Parallel to their story, a man from USA trying to get over tragedy in his own life decides to serve on a task force halting human trafficking in India. Their stories merge and it becomes a mission to save both girls. Riveting story, and very sadly, plausible and believable in modern day
