SRP 2010 REVIEW: First time reading this author and doubtful I'll read others in this series. Main character reminded me of an Italian Poirot. Takes place in Venice--I didn't understand most of the Italian words and I'm not familiar with life in Venice so didn't understand the references to behavior, language, cities etc. It was slow moving and just had no life to it.
