SRP 2012 REVIEW: Neil Gaiman is a greatly talented author who has, in "The Graveyard Book", created a John Newbery Medal winning work of children's literature that takes place primarily in a graveyard with a cast comprised mostly of the undead. As a long-time fan of Neil Gaiman's books and Sandman graphic novels I had to pick this up, especially since I was working on a plot for one of my stories involving a young man growing up in an old house filled with spirits from the past. I was not disappointed, Nobody Owens is a clever and sympathetic protagonist and his devotion to his family and friends is admirable. Another five.
