SRP 2010 REVIEWS (4): #1) This book was very good. It CLEARLY explained the hardships Of being a slave and having to run free. The author told the story with much description and a vast word choice. Overall if you love historical stories read this book! #2) This is a revolutionary book dealing with slaves and american independence. #3) I liked that the main charecter, Isabel, who will always look after her sister no matter what. But when Isabel thinks that her sister was sold (Isabel and her sister are in slavery) and she has so many things going on with her because of that. The book was amazing, and I read it twice. #4) A precious book that teaches people the importance of understanding each other and treating people the way you want to be treated.
