This course includes Lessons 1-5 from the Ojibwe Level 1 Program, featuring 2.5 hours of language instruction. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and new vocabulary and structures. The Ojibwe Language: Ojibwe is a North American Indian language of the Algonquian family. It is spoken by approximately 45,000 people in Canada and 10,000 in the United States. The dialects represented in this course are widely used in the Red Lake, Leech Lake, and White Earth Reservations in Northern Minnesota. |
