SRP 2012 REVIEW: Ms. Phillips did an amazing time writing about the immediate post civil war years. Seeing the South and the North though the eyes of a man and women from different sides both in love was fascinating. Did not want to put it down for a second.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: I got this book on CD to listen to in the car while driving on a 3 1/2 hour car trip. It was just a fun chick lit piece to keep me from being bored while driving. A perfect choice for entertainment in the car.
