SRP 2013 REVIEW: During the summer, half of my reading is often children's and young adult's books that I read with my middle school age daughter. This book really intrigued me as I love John Grisham's previous adult works. I enjoyed this book very much. The plot was compelling if more simple but still well written and fast to read. I would recommend it for families to read together and get a taste for murder mysteries without the violence and gore.

SRP 2010 REVIEW: It was pretty good. I didn't realise it was a youth book until I checked it out, but it made great reading on a 3 hour airplane ride! Typical John Grisham lawyer reading, but made more simple for kids. I just wish it would have wrapped things up better instead of leaving so much for the next book in the series.
