This is the first film showing the story of the Wall and the reunification of Germany seen from such an unusual perspective - from the rabbits' point of view. As if the green belt between the two walls was designed for those animals - full of untouched grass, the predators stayed behind the wall and the guards made sure no one disturbed the rabbits. They had been living there for 28 years, enclosed but safe. With the fall of the Wall in 1989, the rabbits had to look for another place to live. RABBIT À LA BERLIN is an allegorical, self-described "nature documentary about socialism" which brings together the history of Eastern Europe as seen from the rabbits' unique perspective. 521 8 Not rated. 538 Mode of access: World Wide Web. 650 0 Rabbits|zGermany. 650 0 Rabbits|xEffect of human beings on|xHistory. 650 0 Borderlands|zGermany. 650 0 Human-animal relationships|zGermany|zBerlin. 650 0 Berlin Wall, Berlin, Germany, 1961-1989|xEnvironmental aspects. 650 0 Cold War|xEnvironmental aspects|zGermany. 651 0 Germany|xHistory|yUnification, 1990|xEnvironmental aspects. 651 0 Germany|xPolitics and government|y1945-1990|xEnvironmental aspects. 655 7 Video recordings for the hearing impaired.|2lcgft 700 1 Konopka, Bartek. 700 1 Rosolowski, Piotr. 700 1 Wydra, Anna. 710 2 hoopla digital. 856 40 |uhttps://www.hoopladigital.com/title/11488286|zInstantly available on hoopla. 856 42 |zCover image|uhttps://d2snwnmzyr8jue.cloudfront.net/ ica_854565001435_180.jpeg
