SRP 2011 REVIEW: Hemingway writes of being a struggling writer in Paris during the 1920s. Each chapter gives a brief vignette of his life, as well as other writers he's met including Gertrude Stein. It made me want to sit at the cafe Deux-Magots and wait for him, even though he's long since gone. This novel was a wonderful, vicarious trip, and the first book of Hemingway's I've truly enjoye.
