Summary
On her first day at the ice skating rink, frail Harriet Johnson meets orphaned Lalla Moore whose wealthy aunt wants her to become a skating champion. The girls quickly become fast friends until they seem to be heading in two different directions: as Lalla's interest in skating starts to fade, Harriet's natural talents begin to emerge.
