SRP 2013 REVIEW: What a fascinating book. Especially interested because it explores legal issues (like many other Jodie Picoult books) and strives to differentiate the Church and State.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: It definitely took me a little while to get into not because I had a hard time believing in these characters. I have read one other Piccoult book before, and there is just something about her writing that leaves me in disbelief a lot of the time. She's a good writer, but I don't care for her characters in the way a reader should. Overall, the story was decent and dealt with some controversial issues, which I liked reading about.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: Not my favorite book...the accompanying music CD was over the top. Seemed like the plot was forced constructed to call attention to the issues at hand, did not read naturally.

SRP 2011 REVIEW: Lots of unpredictable twists in this one, kept me hanging on until the very end. She seemed much more judgemental and one-sided than she did in the other novels of hers that I have read, however. Very interesting topic, it made me think.
