SRP 2013 REVIEW: This was sweet and quirky. My daughter-in-law recommended it and said it was slightly similar to Winnie the Pooh. I don't know if I would quite compare it to that, but there was a sweetness and a humor that was a little reminiscent of Pooh. I think these were bedtime stories that a Dutch father told to his children. There is the feeling of reading something from another culture. I really loved his little descriptive passages. Very whimsical and gentle.
