Summary On a crumbling empty, windswept mesa in the American Southwest lie the ruins of a mysterious Pueblo culture. Its members seem to have appeared suddenly, flourished for a few centuries, and then disappeared just as suddenly about 1300 A.D. This film probes the remains of these deserted cities in an attempt to reconstruct the lives and times of these fascinating early Americans.
