SRP 2011 REVIEW: This book is pretty interesting, but also a little weird. Basically, the main character, Josh, is shipped out of his mom's home in Boston (his parents are divorced). When his grandma breaks her hip, his mom can go to Florida and take care of her. I'd go on, but that would spoil the book. Anyway, his dad has started impersonating Elvis, and he is going to do a concert at Josh's school. Josh tries to stop him, but his dad, oblivious to everything, won't listen. Other than how annoying Josh's dad is to Josh, and Josh constantly (and annoyingly) leaving mental notes to people, this book isn't that bad.

SRP 2010 REVIEWS (4): #1) "All Shook Up," is about a boy's troubles as a child of divorced parents. His is complicated by his dad's career as an Elvis Impersonator. When he comes to Chicago, to live with him for a while, his life will never be the same. #2) this book was really funny, it was about how a boy was sent to live with his dad in Chicago and when he gets there he realizes that his dad is an Elvis Presley impersonator, with a strange Girlfriend who has a daughter who is like totally weird. #3) I thought that this book was pretty good. It was a little bit weird because it was about an Elvis impersonator but the book was very enjoyable. It does have a minor swear but I would recommend this book for middle school and up. #4) This book was really funny, as in at times i would begin laughing out loud:) The plot was really neat and i liked it a lot but it isn't one of those books that i would read again.
