SRP 2011 REVIEW: This is one of my favorite stories because I love learning about Greek mythology. I also love to read about the quest that Zoe, Bianca, Thalia, Percy, and Grover go on. The description and dialogue of the book written by Rick Riordan is so great that you can easily picture what is going on in your head. For example, when they were battling the the monster in the junkyard, I could picture all of the action that happened and all of the emotions that occurred.

SRP 2010 REVIEWS (4): #1) Great student series that is imaginative and creative. #2) I loved this novel, I understand it is written for teenagers; but as a teacher I like to know what my students are reading. I teach history and the way that Riordan weaves mythology into these modern stories is great and my students are able to apperacite Greek history more because of his novels. #3) I really liked this book, a good children's book as well. It has really good modernizations of the Greek myths and is probably even more interesting if you know the myths beforehand, but is still enjoyable if you don't. #4) This was my least favorite book in the series, but it was still awesome. I really liked how the gods are more modern, you can picture them better than if they still wore togas and ancient Greek stuff.
