SRP 2010 REVIEW: The Demigod Files was an okay book. I think the original Percy Jackson series is way better (and NO, I am NOT including the movie in this), but the Files wasn't all bad. The interviews, map, and diagrams were okay, but I kind of thought they'd be different, and the pictures of the main Gods, Goddesses and Demigods were also rather different than I thought. As for the short stories included in the Files, well, some are better than others. The best one would probably be the last one: Percy Jackson and the Sword of Hades, which, as the title implies, involves the Underworld. Percy Jackson and the Bronze Dragon, well, let's just say that there are better capture the flag stories in the actual novels, and Percy Jackson and the Stolen Chariot is sort of in the middle because it introduces new gods, but seemed kind of like a warm-up to the rest of the collection of Camp Half-Blood companion material. So, in summary, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: the Demigod Files is most definitely not as good as the original series.
