Summary |
Comedy king Hal Roach produced this short war-time feature starring William Tracy as Dorian a Dodoa Doubleday, a clerk who uses his photographic memory to get through basic training. Joe Sawyer plays the short-tempered sergeant who wants to bounce the know-it-all out of the army! The rest of the cast includes such familiar faces as Noah Beery Jr. and James Gleason. This laugh-fest was such a success that Tracy and Sawyer would go on to make seven more of these wacky war comedies! |
