Natural born cynic Flora Buckman was horrified to see a squirrel in the direct path of a vacuum and a neighbor run amuck in her backyard. Using skills she learned from Terrible Things Can Happen To You, a section at the back of her superhero comic books, Flora was able to resurrect the now mostly hairless squirrel using mouth to squirrel CPR and chest compressions. This combination of events, being sucked up by the Ulysses 2000X vacuum and brought back to life by Flora has turned an otherwise unassuming squirrel into a superhero now named Ulysses that can type, write poetry, fly, and fight crime!
