SRP 2013 REVIEW: I wanted to like this a lot more than I did. Most of the stories really blended together in unmemorable ways despite Diaz's unique and fun writing style. There was only one story that I really loved, writing and working together to make the emotion stick. I liked bits of pieces of others, but overall the collection wasn't strong or revelatory like I hoped it would be -- and maybe hoping for revelatory put too much expectation on Diaz.
