SRP 2011 REVIEW: There's a formulaic quality to these types of books (of which the dominant one is the DaVinci Code). There's some history, some science, some people racing time to save the world from a "cataclysm unleashed," and so forth. The timing is usually preposterous, and, no matter how vital the discovery, it tends to be lost somehow. But Rollins does a nice job of twisting the formula in his Sigma Force books, and they are exemplars of the breed. Good summer read.
