SRP 2013 REVIEW: This book is about a boy, his family and his experiences growing up. A main point for most of the book is how the main character's, Cole, Dad sees a man chained to a car fall into a lake. Overall, this is a good book for anyone who wants a story and not much else.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: This book was summer reading for HPOC at Naperville North. When Cory and his Dad saw a car plunge into Saxon's lake, their world was shattered. Cory's dad tried to rescue whoever was in the car, but the person inside was already brutally murdered. The two realized their small town wasn't as innocent and kind-hearted as they once thought. His dad starts to go insane, while Cory starts pulling together the mystery piece by piece. This book was quite interesting and had lots of twists and turns. It can be a bit slow at some parts but the action makes up for it.
