SRP 2011 REVIEW: I've enjoyed the books in Alexander McCall Smith's series, The No 1 Ladies Detective Agency, and was looking forward to reading the first book in this author's new series. I was disappointed. I thought the main character Isabel Dalhousie was not strong enough or likable enough. The plot was a little boring and too slow. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this book.
