SRP 2012 REVIEW: The Artemis Fowl books are about a teenage criminal mastermind who hatches a plot to get rich. Well, richer. His plan is to acquire a good amount of gold to restore his family's billionaire status. How? By kidnapping a fairy and holding her for ransom, of course.

SRP 2010 REVIEWS (3): #1) I thought this book was awesome. Artemis Fowl was a book with several story lines. They had the criminal, the hostage, the body guard of the criminal, the leaders of the hostage, and an escaped convict's stories. Eoin Colfer did well to have great visual words, and he also had a unique way of getting feelings onto the paper in this book. I also loved to crack the code along the bottom of the pages. It took me a month, and a lot of it made no sense, so i think I'm not done cracking it. I think I better go back over my code! #2) I think the book is great. Its a different take on fairies and magic. There is a lot of action. #3) This book is the first in the Artemis Fowl series being the introduction to him. He is a devious master mind behind the schemes. The catch is that he is only 12! This child has a confused mother and a huge butler. He wants to regain his family's fortune. He duz so, but you'll have to read the book to find out.
