SRP 2012 REVIEW: In spite of all the hype surrounding this book, I found it quite disappointing. It would make a great young adult novel, as it is a coming-of-age story of 10 year old Julia who is dealing with life changes along with the disaster of the slowing of the earth's rotation. The days and nights are getting longer, and life on earth must adapt or die.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: This is a coming of age book in a weird setting - the earth's days are getting longer which is threatening the world. I enjoyed the book but thought the ending was weak.
