SRP 2013 REVIEW: An entertaining YA read about a dystopian society where everything is predicted and controlled by the government, including the person to whom you're mated for life. Cassie, the protagonist, rebels against the system and decides she wants to choose for herself.

SRP 2013 REVIEW: Matche was a fine novel. I like how the society has so much control over them, and the amount of rebelliousness that she had.

SRP 2013 REVIEW: This book was really good and very suspenseful but I just read Divergent a couple months ago and it wasn't close to as great as that series.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: This book was very engaging and brought you right into the story and Cassia's world very quickly. I liked how the book started off with everything just right but little by little things would come up and the story got more and more complex along the way.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: This story is really weird-in the good way- and was unique in the way that it is VERY RARE to come up with a story as good as this! If all books were this good, then reading would be what anyone would see me doing all day.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: Trust. The only word that alone is so powerful. In Matched, by: Ally Condie, a semi-rebellious girl finds trust and love in a relationship that shouldn’t exist. Pushing her life to the past, to find a new “her” is what she tries. Starting out as nothing more than a bright girl who waltzes up to her match banquet and skipping out, Matched. A joyful matched seventeen year old girl, nothing more, nothing less. Everything severely changed when she truly saw Ky for the first time, for who he is. At that moment, her rebellion started and her deep love and trust for Ky. Condie takes us deeper into Cassia’s life, far more than even imaginable. Read Matched and your perspective on life will change.

Matched by ally condie is one of the best book i have ever read. It is kinda like the hunger games as it is in the future and all but in another way it is not like it at all either. If someone between the ages of 11-16 is looking for a good read this would definetly be the one. I recommend it for anyone who has already read or going to read the hunger games by suzanne collins.

SRP 2011 REVIEW: Similar in concept to many other government-run societies (1984, Brave New World, etc), but this one deals with being Matched with your perfect other half at the age of 17. Matched for compatability, heredity and potential off-spring, people in the society live long, happy lives. But when 17 year old Cassia is matched to two different guys, her belief that the Society is perfect begins to unravel. Ky is dark and mysterious, and Xander is comfort and safety. Who will she choose and how can life be perfect when you have to?
