I first brought home this volume from NPL shortly after publication. "Heaven's Prisoners" is a masterpiece, even allowing for the other great works this man has written. It may be my favorite Burke book, though that is an exceptionally tough decision. I HAD to buy the book for my own collection and have read it [with highlighting of key observations] at least 12 times.
