SRP 2012 REVIEW: This is one of my favorite stories because it is just a great book. Also that there are so many great lessons that the main character learns along the way and throughout the whole story.

SRP 2011 REVIEW: It was very describtive and I liked how it was a novel in verse in the form of a poem but not really having elements of a poem.

SRP 2011 REVIEW: Matt, a twelve year old Vietnamese adoptee, has terrible memories he can not talk about until his adopted father takes him to Vietnam Visions, a support group for Vietnam Vets. How Matt deals with prejudice and his nightmares makes for a moving story.

SRP 2011 REVIEW: This book was amazing. It is written in verse which I usually stay away from, but it reads much more like a beautiful story talking about hard things like Vietnam but with fun stuff like talking about baseball, too. My favorite book so far this summer.
