Zach, Poppy and Alice enjoy creating elaborate stories which they act out with their action figures. The current story is set in a magical kingdom ruled by an antique doll they call "The Queen". The game is ruined when Zach's father throws out all of his action figures. Zach ends his friendship with the girls, until Poppy comes to him with a story of being haunted by "The Queen". She says the doll is made out of the bones of a murdered girl. The friends must set out on a quest to find out what happened to the girl and bury the doll. This books is a great mix of creepy ghost story, adventure and the story of friends who stick together.
