SRP 2013 REVIEW: Good book, empty ending. I wonder if the author doesn't want to write science fiction.

SRP 2011 REVIEW: It's one of those books that rip your heart out, with no happy ending, with no defined ending at all. Everything is blurred, except for the raw, real emotions of a girl, Rosie, and her family. Although Rosie's ability to taste more than the ingredients in food is fictitious, the book is not focused on the supernatural. It is beautifully heartbreaking and I want to read it over and over again.
