SRP 2012 REVIEW: Ann's outstanding writing takes us on an adventure in Brazil, through the Amazon jungle, where we search with Marina Singh for what has happened to her colleague. He is presumed to be dead, but his wife isn't sure. What Marina discovers is her former professor conducting research on vaccinations, the Lakashi tribe indigenous to the rain forest, and the most charming boy whose people left him behind when he became deathly ill. We also find out what happened to her colleague because Marina is able to prove her courage above all things.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: I enjoyed reading this book. It was an interesting story with many twists and turns. I thought the author did a great job describing the jungle - it made you feel like you were there. Although I could have done without the guide pulling the anaconda out of the water and it almost suffocating Easter to death.
