SRP 2013 REVIEW: Thomas wakes up in the Glade, an encampment at the center of a bizarre and terrible maze. All than he can remember is his first name. Like Thomas, none of the Gladers can remember how they goth there, or what is happening to the outside world. All that they know is that they will do anything to get out the maze. This book was amazing, because it was impossible to put down, and I loved every second of it.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: Every once in awhile, young adult books that are well-written and engaging can be found. This is not one of them. The writing is repetitive and ideas are introduced too late, making the flow of events awkward. It reads like a debut novel or worse, a first/second draft. The writing is more appropriate for thirteen-year-olds than older teens as sentences are simplistic and vocabulary basic. This book can easily be read in a couple of nights. The actual story is okay. It's hard to give each character a personality trait, however. Chuck is funny, perhaps? Thomas is brave? I was able to finish, but I thought about stopping multiple times. This book made it to hardcover and I'm completely baffled as to why. Perhaps Twilight is setting a trend and I should feel more confident after reading these kind of books. If this can get published, why can't mine?

SRP 2012 REVIEW: Read on Veronica Roth's recommendation. Not as deep as Divergent series but still interesting read.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: I thought it was a cool dystopic fiction, like the Hunger Games. It was suspenseful and clever. Some parts dragged though.

SRP 2010 REVIEWS (2): #1) I thought it was a pretty easy read, very suspenseful. I didn't really like the ending, though it set up a sequel very nicely. #2) The maze runner was a great book. it included a lot of suspense and i never wanted to stop reading. i loved it!
