SRP 2011 REVIEW: Another private investigator, murder mystery thriller, this book features old favorites Dean King and Michelle Maxwell, two private eyes who are called in by King's friend , lawyer Bergin to determine the innocence of Edgar Roy, confined in a maximum security prison in Deepest woods Maine. Upon their arrival, Bergin is found murdered and they must go it alone to determine Roy's fate. Along the way, they find insurmountable obstacles, other deaths and misinformation in their way. Intrigue deepens as the feds and high level authority try to block their progress. Each step of the book makes the mystery deeper and both of their own lives are imperiled. A good, fast moving detective genre that's well written.
