Summary |
For 14 years, since the rise to power of Hugo Chávez, the international media has portrayed the Venezuelan revolution as a totalitarian and antidemocratic process controlled and influence by Fidel Castro and the Cuban government. It is with this concern that the crew of Venezuela the Struggle Continues, decided to travel to Venezuela and document the history of struggle of the Venezuelan people, through the testimonies of some of the participants of that struggle. Common folk, ex guerrilla commanders, activist, and sectors of the society that are building a new Venezuela, give testimonies of their personal experiences in the new type of society they dream of building. |
