This comprehensive beginner-to-intermediate-level course on AWS and its components begins with an introduction to cloud computing and the three cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). You will learn to deploy and configure virtual instances, understand the foundations of remote server administration and server security using SSH. You will then be introduced to Linux and explore various Linux distributions, file systems, and essential maintenance and directory commands. The latter portion of the course provides a comprehensive guide to AWS. You will set up, secure, and navigate an AWS account, AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), and manage user accounts for various AWS services, IAM User management and permissions, IAM groups, policies, and access key rotation and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) service. Upon completing the course, you will use your newfound skills to build dynamic front-end UI components using the React JS library. Through a series of hands-on projects, you will create a calculator, a Connect-4 Game clone, and a fully customizable ecommerce site. The React modules start from the basics and work to several intermediate-level concepts. This includes working with code pen, JSX, functional components, props, callbacks, events, the React State hook, conditional rendering, Fetch API, refactoring, and more.
