SRP 2010 REVIEWS (2): #1) This was my first Alan Moore novel, despite being a huge graphic novel fan. I absolutely loved the whole novel. I loved the structure of it, the mysterious character of V, the development of Evey and the way the plot became layed out, leaving the reader slightly in the dark but begging for more the whole way through. I would definately recommend this to anyone who reads books with the purpose of having a new view on the world #2) Do comic books count for the summer reading program? In any case, this one does deserve the term "graphic novel". David Lloyd illustrates Alan Moore's story of a near-future Fascist England and the masked antihero who brings it all crashing down. The book differs in many ways from the movie adaptation, so is well worth reading even if you've seen the film - or vice-versa, for that matter.
