| Summary |
A mockumentary comedy series that takes place during fifteen highly significant minutes of a child’s life; that of snack time in the primary school playground. Adapted from the popular books written by Danny Katz and illustrated by Mitch Vane, LITTLE LUNCH has become a vibrant and truthful character comedy for the small screen. Each self-contained episode revolves around, and is told by, six diverse and distinctly identifiable children. LITTLE LUNCH tackles the big issues in the playground and uses observational comedy to explore themes which govern children: fear, anxiety, friendship, loyalty, trust and abandonment. Although original in concept, the show is effortlessly universal. LITTLE LUNCH is an eminently relatable comedy with heart. |
