The Monsanto papers : corruption of science and grievous harm to public health / Gilles-Éric Seralini with Jérôme Douzelet ; foreword by Vandana Shiva ; translated from the French by Lucinda Karter.
Describes the attempts of Monsanto to discredit the author's study published in "Food and Chemical Toxicology," a major scientific journal, that showed the effect of the company's flagship products, Roundup weedkiller and the GM foods created to absorb it, on liver and kidney health. A 2017 class-action lawsuit forced Monsanto to publish confidential documents that proved the company's attempts at a cover-up and fraudulent practices.
