| Summary |
Priscilla is a young girl traveling with her mother, Joyce, to join her grandfather, a British army colonel, at the post he commands in northern India. Upon arrival, they witness the capture of Khoda Khan, leader of the rebel Indian faction. Priscilla enjoys playing at being a soldier, but her grandfather insists she stay away from the troops, fearing for her safety. But she manages to stay in the middle of everything and works to ease the fighting. |
