the Alchemyst is a wonderful fantasy book that does contain some seriousness, and some common fantasy-lover knowledge! Sophie and Josh were two average teens, until their bosses, which happen to work across from one another and are husband and wife, got in danger when John Dee steals a powerful and magical book. It holds many secrets, including the secret to immortality that has kept Nick Flemming alive so long. Like any good story line, they have a time limit, but this time limit is different. It may doom the human race.-Jessica H
